Hello!
I’m Matt, the inventor of MATT’S MAT!
I originally created this product to use at the bottom of my RV entry steps. Then quickly learned all the other places around our home and day-to-day life where we need to clean our feet.
Traditional door mats lying flat on the ground don’t accomplish much in cleaning our feet and suffer a number of limitations such as accumulating dirt, dust, trash, rocks, leaves, insects, moisture, germs, and more. Trapping those items on the surface with nowhere to go and continually soiling our footwear every time we step on it, defeating the purpose of the mat. Regular mats are also susceptible to water and don’t allow the mat to dry for extended periods of time. Then the mats become worn and damaged due to constant foot traffic, weather conditions and exposure to outdoor elements.
I got tired of constantly sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning because the standard door mat wasn’t doing much. It was merely for decoration. I also tried various step stools and platforms, but those are designed for those sole purposes only and didn’t solve the issues. I couldn’t find anything out there as a solution.
So, I designed and built MATT’S MAT with my vision of how it would work to solve all of those issues and more! An effective ELEVATED DEBRIS-DROPPING DOOR MAT that is All-Weather & UV Resistant, extremely tough, lightweight and long lasting. I accomplished just that!
